GPYHA will be holding travel team tryouts for 2019-20 season between March 11-27 for all Mite, Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam travel teams.
In order for a player to participate on a travel team, they must attend tryouts for the level that they will be entering next season. For example, this season's Mites with a 2010 birth year will try out for the Squirt level travel teams.
There will be two tryout sessions for players at each level - skaters must attend both days of tryouts. If you are unable to make a tryout session, please contact Chris Lambert.
Travel team tryouts will be held on the following dates and times:

Congratulations to the GPYHA Bantam Wales Red Jr. Bears, who won the Falmouth Fall Classic Tournament in a shootout thriller.
The Bears were tied 2-2 with the North Devils after regulation in the championship game. Neither team could score in the overtime period, even though they had their chances. Goalie Landon Pielka stood on his head for several chances to keep the Bears hopes alive. The Bears first two shooters missed and one Devils player found the back of the net. Down 1-0 as the final Bears chance, Ryan Colson blasted his chance past the Devils goalie to knot the game again. In round four, Pielka again made the save. Chris Riel stepped on to the ice and became the hero as he potted the winner. The Bears went 4-0 in the tournament beating the Devils twice, as well as teams from Falmouth and Southern Maine.
Congratulations to all of the Bears for their great work this past weekend.
