Subscribing to Team Schedules

For help getting your skater's team schedule on your desktop/laptop or mobile device please check the questions and answers below. If you still have questions, please email mail@gpyha.org.

Q: What is subscribing to a team schedule mean?
A:
When you subscribe to a schedule, all the events (practices, games, team events, etc.) on the team schedule are automatically synced with your calendar. This means that as team events are added, deleted or changed, the changes are automatically sent to your calendar.

Q: Is it better to subscribe to a schedule or download the schedule?
A:
If your calendar application allows subscriptions (and most do), this is the better option since changes are automatically synced.  For example, when games are added to the team schedule they will automatically show up on your calendar. You only have to subscribe once to get the schedule for the whole season.

Q: How can I subscribe to a team schedule?
A:
Go to your team schedule. On the bottom right you will see a button to Subscribe/Download Season Schedule. Click that button and you will get a link to download the schedule and a link to subscribe to the schedule. Copy the link to subscribe to the schedule. On a PC use right-click to copy the link and on a Mac use control-click. On an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, press the link to copy. Now you can paste the schedule URL link into your calendar application.

Q: How can I add a subscription directly to my iPhone, iPad or iPod touch?
A:
First follow the instructions above to copy the link for subscribing to the team schedule. Then, in Settings, choose "Mail, Contacts, Calendars", then tap Add Account. Choose Other, then choose Add Subscribed Calendar. To enter the server paste the link for subscribing to the team schedule you have copied, then tap Next to verify the subscription. Tap Save.

Q: What if I have more than one player?
A:
You can subscribe to multiple teams' schedules. Simply repeat the instructions above for each team.
