Congratulations to the GPYHA Squirt Smythe team for winning the Watch City Tournament Championship last weekend.

Waltham Youth Hockey hosted the Columbus Day Weekend tournament for Tier II and III level teams in the Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam divisions. Our Squirt Smythe team garnered a 4-0 record with victories over Waltham, Triboro and the 2015-16 MA State Champion Framingham Flyers 5-1 in the championship.

Coach Frank Fede commented, "The squirt team played as a team with every player contributing to the success of the team over the long weekend."

The team played hard and disciplined, netting 23 GF and only 2 GA for the tourney with only 5 penalties. Congrats Squirt Smythe!
