After cancellations and postponements, the GPYHA House League finally was able to hold its Parent vs. Kid games on Saturday April 3 at Meehan Auditorium on the campus of Brown University.  In the first game the Bruins and Rangers kids took it to the parents and coaches and, according to the kids, it was a complete blowout.  In the second game, it looked as though the Red Wings and Jets kids were in trouble until the final minute of the game when someone called out "Next goal wins" and, due to some defensive miscues, the kids were able to tuck the puck underneath the pads of the parents goalie.  In the final game, the Kings and Penguins kids were locked in a tight battle with the coaches and parents, before pulling out the W.  So at the end of the day it was Kids 3, Parents 0.

Thanks to our many excellent coaches for all the time they put in to make this program what it is.  We are truly lucky to have such a great group of coaches that are willing to share their time to teach our kids this great sport.
