As you have probably heard, there may be some snow this weekend.  It is looking like our area will not be hit too badly.  That being said, if you are scheduled for a practice or a game on a day where there is snow in the forecast, please check the GPYHA website and/or Facebook page before you head out for the rink to see if the event has been cancelled.  As a general rule, if the rinks are open (which they almost always are) and the roads aren't too bad, we will not cancel events (particularly events on weekends).  Hockey is a winter sport and we live in New England, so we need to be prepared to get to the rink through some amount of snow.  If an game/practice is not cancelled, but you personally do not feel comfortable driving, please just let your coach know that you won't be there.
