By GPYHA

Thank you to everyone that participated in GPYHA travel team tryouts over the past two weeks and congratulations to all the players on their team assignments.

Please read below thoroughly - contained within is important information regarding next steps.

2017-18 Team Rosters

Rosters for our 2017-2018 Mite, Squirt and PeeWee and Bantam travel teams can be found HERE.

Team selection was based on a combination of player tryouts and player evaluations from coaches from the prior season. More information about the tryout procedure and team selection process can be found HERE.

Team Level Assignments

All teams have been temporarily placed into the SNEHC division most appropriate for that team's skill level. However, in September all teams will compete in parity games designed to recognize talent and experience disparities between assigned teams. Once the parity games are complete teams will be placed in divisions based upon the results of their parity games. This 'parity round' process has been successfully utilized by many youth hockey leagues and will be adopted by SNEHC for the 2017-18 season to drive even competition among teams within a division.

Next Steps

All players that registered for tryouts and have been rostered on a team will receive an email bill from SportsEngine requesting a $150 registration commitment fee. Prompt payment of this fee will secure your player's roster spot. After 14 days have passed, any roster spots that have not been secured will be considered open, and rosters may be adjusted accordingly.

Both the $100 tryout fee that you paid and this $150 registration commitment fee are non-refundable and will be credited to your tuition payment for the 2017-18 season, which will occur in the Fall.

Travel Team Coaches

You will see on the roster sheet the Head Coach(es) assigned to each team. Head Coaches will shortly be selecting their Assistant Coaches and will be contacting their team members for an introduction.

Congratulations to all our Jr. Bears Travel Team players.  For those that are interested in skating during the summer, we will announce our Summer Program details shortly.

Have a great off-season!
